Introduction to hydraulic multi-channel rotary joints: widespread application

To enhance the rapid operation of the hydraulic rotary joint under high-speed, high-pressure, and high-temperature conditions, two high-precision bearings at the upper and lower ends of the product support the rotor to work at high speed while maintaining stability and efficiency, ensuring the concentricity of the internal structure. This structure reduces internal friction, ensures robust and flexible operation, and utilizes seals that are ultra-durable, heat-resistant, and corrosion-resistant. They will not leak during high-pressure testing and are not affected by changes in supply pressure and temperature during operation. The seals are made of polymer materials.
1. Hydraulic rotary joints are widely used in
The hydraulic rotary joint is a connecting and sealing device that transfers fluid medium from a stationary pipeline to a rotating device. This product finds widespread application in various high-end fields such as automation, CNC machine tools, cable drums, printing, medical equipment, semiconductors, military, rotary indexing tables, plastic molding, aerospace equipment, automated robots, robotic arms, and hydraulic clamping devices.
II. Selection of hydraulic rotary joints
1. First, determine the type of rotary joint to be used based on the structure of the equipment connected to it: If the structure of the equipment dictates that the input medium and output medium are realized on the same side of the equipment, then a dual-channel rotary joint must be selected. If the structure of the equipment dictates that the input medium and output medium are realized on different sides of the equipment, then a single-channel rotary joint must be selected.
2. If the equipment requires the simultaneous delivery of multiple media or the output of media to multiple locations, consideration should be given to selecting a multi-channel hydraulic rotary joint.
3. Select the diameter of the rotary joint and the standard threaded connection port according to the required input and output medium flow rates.
4. Select a hydraulic rotary joint with corresponding performance based on the pressure of the medium and the rotational speed of the equipment.
5. Determine whether to use flange or threaded connections, as well as internal tube rotating or fixed connections, based on the connection structure between the equipment and the rotary joint. It is important to remember that if a threaded rotary joint is chosen, the rotation direction of the equipment must be clearly specified.
6. Pay attention to the following relevant parameters when selecting:
1) The structural form and relevant dimensions of the connection between the equipment and the rotary joint;
2) Equipment rotation speed and direction;
3) Name of medium, its temperature, and pressure;
4) Provide the interface type and size for connecting the rotary joint to the metal hose.
III. Preparations and precautions before installation
1. Before installing the rotary joint, remove all hard particles and other contaminants from the pipeline, as well as from the interior of the roller and rotary joint.
2. Check whether the type, specification, and model of the rotary joint selected are correct, and whether the connecting parts with the assembled machine and pipeline (pipe section) are missing.
3. When the hollow shaft of the rotary joint is connected using threads, it is necessary to check whether the thread direction is opposite to the rotation direction of the mating rotating body, and whether the dimensions are the same.
4. Inspect the rotating and fixed end bodies and adjust the concentricity of their shells with the hollow shaft to prevent shell vibration or rotation during the installation and use of the rotary joint.
